Doors Delivered

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Doors Delivered ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you place an order, create an account, contact us, or subscribe to updates. This typically includes your name, delivery and billing address, phone number, email address, and payment details. Payment card data is processed by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) and is never stored on our servers.

We also collect basic technical information about how you use our website — pages visited, device type, and approximate location — to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

  • To process your orders and arrange delivery.

  • To respond to enquiries and provide after-sales support.

  • To send transactional emails (order confirmations, despatch notifications, password resets).

  • To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

  • With your consent, to send occasional marketing communications you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where necessary to operate the business: with our payment processors, freight carriers, email-delivery provider, and professional advisers bound by confidentiality. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Data is stored on servers under our control and protected with industry-standard technical and organisational measures. We retain order records for the period required by Australian tax law.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. You can also opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in each message.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies we need for the shop to work

Our website uses its own cookies to remember your cart, the delivery postcode you check, and your sign-in if you have an account, and to protect our forms from spam. The shop doesn't work properly without them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website, for example which pages are visited and how many orders are placed. Google receives the pages you view (with any reset links, access codes or email addresses removed from page addresses), basic information about your browser and device, and, when you place an order, the order number, its value and the products in it.

We also use Mouseflow, through Google Tag Manager, to see how pages are used: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages visited.

Advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work, and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested in them.

- On our shop pages, the Meta Pixel tells Meta which pages and products you view, what you add to your cart and when you start checking out, along with the page address, your browser details, your IP address and Meta's own cookies (_fbp and _fbc). It does not run on our payment, account, order or password pages.

- When you place an order, our server sends Meta the order number, its value and the products in it, together with your email address, phone number, name, suburb, state, postcode and country (and your account number with us, if you have an account). These details are scrambled with a one-way code (hashed) before they leave our server, and Meta uses them to match the order to a Facebook or Instagram account. We also send your IP address, your browser details and Meta's cookies.

- Meta may also use this information for its own purposes, as described in Meta's privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

We use Google Tag Manager to run tags from Google and our advertising agency.

Information sent overseas

Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited), Google (Google LLC) and Mouseflow (Mouseflow ApS, Denmark) may store and process this information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We share it with them only for the purposes described above.

Your choices

- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our website does not load the Meta Pixel, and we do not send your order to Meta.

- You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block our own cookies, the cart and sign-in won't work.

- Facebook and Instagram: in your Meta account, go to Settings > Accounts Center > Your information and permissions > Your activity off Meta technologies, and to your ad preferences.

- Google: Google's ad settings (myadcenter.google.com) and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

- Mouseflow: mouseflow.com/opt-out.

- We do not sell your personal information.

If you have a question about any of this, or a privacy complaint, contact us at sales@doorsdelivered.com.au or 56 King Edward Road, Osborne Park WA 6017.
